The Atlantic Marine Park, one of the largest in Northern Europe, is located 3 km from the city of Alesund in a picturesque tourist area on the ocean coast with fantastic views of the surrounding islands. This unique aquarium, built between land and sea, was officially opened by the Norwegian royal couple in 1988

Visiting the Atlantic Marine Park, guests of the city can get acquainted with the flora and fauna of the fjords, as well as with the variety of inhabitants of the sea depths, which here they are in their natural environment, because water is pumped into the aquariums directly from the ocean.

Every day at 13.00, a diving show is arranged for visitors with hand-feeding of such fish as halibut, cod, conger eel, etc. The youngest visitors to the park are especially attracted by the crab feeding process.

Near the marine park, there are fishing spots and a beach for swimming and diving, as well as cultural sites and hiking trails. On the territory of the Atlantic Marine Park, visitors can relax and have a snack in a cozy cafe.
