Photo and description

The name of the monastery is translated from Thai as `` Monastery of the Cave Tiger ''. The monastery got this name because of the nearby rock, shaped like a tiger's paw. In the main hall of the monastery, built inside a huge cave, the monks are busy with meditation. In the forest near the monastery, you can see numerous huts of monks and nuns. You can climb a 300-meter staircase to the large seated Buddha statue and the imprint of his foot on the top of the cliff. From here a magnificent view of the surroundings opens.
