Bergkirchli is the oldest church in the resort of Bunder in Arosa and at the same time its oldest surviving building. It is located between the Shanfig Ethnographic Museum and the Tschuggen Hotel in the immediate vicinity of the Carmenna chair lift station, which has a lift height of 1900 meters.

The church was completed in 1493 and has served after the Reformation in Arosa since 1530 the Protestant church community as a parish church. Initially, there was only a chapel, to which the church building itself was already attached. Today it hosts a variety of short organ concerts (about 45 minutes long) during the summer and winter seasons. As a religious site, the church is used for funeral services and weddings, and in addition, services are held there on great holidays. Sunday services have been held since 1909, mainly in the village church. The Bergkirchli community takes an active part in the life of needy parishioners and is ready to provide them with lodging.

In 1762, a church organ was installed in the chapel. In 1974 and 1997, two restorations of the temple were carried out.
