Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is an Orthodox cathedral located in the city of Kamenets-Podolsk, made in a neo-Byzantine style. The temple was founded on the 100th anniversary of the annexation of Podillya to Russia in 1893. It was built with folk funds. The foundation stone of the church itself took place on May 2, 1891, and in 1897 the cathedral was consecrated.

The construction of the cathedral, the luxurious painting of the walls, the purchase of religious accessories - all this cost more than one hundred thousand rubles. The church was even equipped with steam heating. This new church simply amazed all the parishioners with its sophistication - there was a two-tier iconostasis made by the Moscow master Akhapkin, all covered with gold. Everything in the cathedral shone with silver and gold. Especially beautiful and exquisite were the dishes, the Gospel and the cross itself, which was presented to the temple by Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, wife of Nicholas II. All the walls of the church were completely painted, the floor was decorated with patterns, and in the middle of it lay a huge expensive carpet decorated with artistic embroidery, which was donated to the temple by the local women's gymnasium.

This cathedral impressed with its grandeur and was one of the most beautiful temples in Kamyanets-Podolsk. It had a huge main dome and four side semi-domes, as well as a small bell tower above the western entrance. The main altar was dedicated to Saint Alexander Nevsky, in memory of Alexander III. And the southern altar was named in honor of the Holy Great Martyr Catherine. The northern altar was named after St. Nicholas.

Unfortunately, in 1936 the temple was blown up by militant atheists and dismantled to brick.
