Snow Range Trout Farm is located just one hour from Hobart in the crystal clear waters of the Denison River. It is one of the most popular holiday destinations for residents of the surrounding towns and villages and a real pilgrimage site for avid fishermen.

The fishing ponds cover 160 hectares in southwestern Tasmania in the charming Huon Valley. Here you can try your luck fishing for trout or salmon. The ponds of various sizes are home to rainbow trout, lake trout and Atlantic salmon. From morning to evening, visitors compete in their fishing skills. There are also trout and salmon hatcheries on the territory of the farm, which produce about a million salmon eggs and about 100,000 trout eggs per year.
