Gelendzhik Oceanarium is a center of leisure and entertainment for all vacationers on the Black Sea coast. Located in the very center of the resort, the aquarium is the youngest and most spectacular in Russia. It was built in summer 2007. The total area of the oceanarium is 410 sq. m. The Oceanarium is distinguished by a variety of freshwater and marine fauna: piranhas, moray eels, stingrays, seahorses, sharks, stellate sturgeon, sturgeon and many others.

The Oceanarium consists of a huge aquarium and exhibition areas with dozens of tanks of different sizes. The original shapes of the tanks allow you to observe the life of fish and other marine animals in conditions as close as possible to their natural habitat.

The Gelendzhik Oceanarium has three exhibition areas. In the aquariums of the first zone, you can see representatives of freshwater reservoirs of Southeast Asia and South America. For example, there are both aggressive voracious carnivorous representatives of the piranha family and their peaceful fellow vegetarians. Lobsters, starfish and hermit crabs also live here. In the second zone, many inhabitants of the coral community are represented. In this area there is also an aquarium with dangerous fish species: moray eels, hedgehog fish, poisonous lionfish, zebra fish, stone fish. The largest inhabitants of the aquarium - sharks live in the main aquarium.

The Gelendzhik Aquarium has all the necessary conditions for the life support of fish and marine animals: impeccable water chemistry, spacious pools, the latest water purification methods.
