Hellabrunn – the first zoo in the world where the living conditions of certain animals are as close as possible to their natural habitat. During the Second World War, it was significantly damaged by bombing, but survived. The territory of the zoo is divided into parts – `` continents '', and all the animals living there are grouped accordingly. Today in Hellabrunn there are 14.5 thousand animals, representatives of more than 650 species.
