The church was built in 1961 by the project of Aarno Ruusuvuori and has an unusual pyramidal shape. In addition, in the architecture of the church, triangular shapes are very often found, symbolizing, according to the architect's plan, the Holy Trinity. The height of the church, covering an area of 1779 sq. m, is 32 meters. The main building materials were concrete, Oregon pine and marble. Natural light in the church is provided by very wide windows. The altar is located just under one of the windows. In 1977, a 350 register organ was installed in the church, created by Hans Heinrich.
