The Ethnographic Museum in Kavarna was opened in 1984. The main part of the exposition is located in a beautiful two-story old house, which is an architectural monument of the 19th century. Previously, the building belonged to a wealthy family. From 1896 to 1969, the first Bulgarian school in the city of Kavarna was located here. At the end of the twentieth century, the house was restored and turned into an ethnographic museum of urban life. There are also a number of small outbuildings and a garden on the territory of the museum complex.

Visitors to the ethnographic museum of the city of Kavarna can get acquainted with the peculiarities of life and culture of a typical representative of the local region of the 19th century.
