The casino, located in the Kurhaus ("entertainment house") in Baden-Baden, is one of the most beautiful casinos in the world.
The casino building was built in 1821-1824. At the request of Jacques Benazet, the founder of the casino, the gambling halls were decorated in the image of royal castles. French artists and architects were invited especially for this work. The magnificent decoration, decorated with white marble, silk and gold, has been perfectly preserved to this day.
