Museum of Musical Instruments – an unusual museum in Berlin, which has about 3500 items from various musical collections in its collection. Here unique harpsichords, Stradivari, Amanti, Guarneri violins are exhibited. Founded in 1888 as the "Collection of Ancient Musical Instruments", the museum has its own small chamber concert hall. Now it is a part of the Kulturforum project.

One of the most precious instruments in the world is kept here – harpsichord of Marie Antoinette's favorite, Yolanda de Polignac. This is practically the only instrument that has survived after the French Revolution, which destroyed many art objects and musical instruments. This harpsichord, miraculously escaped death, long considered lost, but a century after the revolution was found. The flutes kept in the museum belonged to the Prussian king Frederick the Great. They are kept in luxurious leather cases, decorated with gold and precious stones. Among other musical relics, the museum houses a unique cabinet grand piano, made in 1810 in Vienna by master Josef Brodmann. There is also an amazing instrument called the wurlitzer organ. It replaces many other instruments and can even simulate noise. This instrument was created in the 1920s.
Berliners call the museum "alive" because it often hosts concerts of classical music.
