Gurk Cathedral is one of the main monuments of Romanesque architecture in Austria. Here is the tomb of Saint Gemma, who is considered the patroness of Carinthia. Her relics have been resting in the cathedral since 1174.

In the shop located at the cathedral, you can buy the famous Gurkish liqueur, which is a healing balm, consisting of more than 50 herbs and seeds.
