Museum of the History of Marseille in France, Marseille resort
Rating: 7,5/10 (100 votes)  The hall of the Middle Ages is dedicated, for the most part, to the era of the birth of French navigation and the transformation of Marseille into the largest commercial port in France. In this room, there are open access to old maps and globes of those years, which were compiled by both scientists and the sailors themselves.The history of the 19th century is presented in a separate room. Here you can see the architectural plans of the main sights of the city, as well as look at old photographs and sketches of Marseille. Each of the halls contains objects of everyday life, weapons, clothing and tools of various kinds, found during excavations historical eras.
