The pagoda was named after the neighboring pagoda became known as the Big Wild Goose Pagoda . Even though this pagoda is lower than its large neighbor, it has more floors. The pagoda has experienced a huge number of earthquakes. It was completely restored in 1965. The pagoda is built of bricks, has the shape of a square with a side of 11.4 meters.
