For the first time, the Church of St. Linhart was mentioned in historical documents back in 1246. According to legend, in the 12th century, on the site where the church stands today, there was a hermit's dwelling, whose name was Linhart. It was originally named Leonardo. Once, through the fault of Leonardo, a girl died, and heartbroken he was turned to long wanderings until he found a beautiful and quiet place in the Czech forests. The sinner took the name Lingart for himself and spent the rest of his life in prayer and humility, helping people from nearby villages, trying to atone for their sins. Subsequently, Lingart became a healer, he never refused advice and help from people who turned to him. He used thermal water and medicinal herbs for healing.

The church was built on the site where the healer Lingarth's humble quarters were previously located. You can still feel the atmosphere of peace and holiness here.
