There is a four-storey tower 30 meters high in the park, the name of which translates as 'View of the River'. Nearby there is a fountain built during the Tang Dynasty, which is still active today. It is believed that the poet used the waters of this fountain to create red paper. The buildings in the park built in honor of Xue Tao are Wanjian Ting – paper washing pavilion, Yinshi Low – tower of poetry recitation, and Zhou Lou – a lace washing tower. The poet was very fond of bamboo, so a grove of 140 different species of this plant was planted in the park.
