Tiger Manege (Tiger Arena) in Vietnam, Hue Resort
Rating: 8,8/10 (286 votes)  The Tiger Arena is located 4 kilometers from the citadel on the southern bank of the Huong River. The arena was built in 1830 and was originally intended to conduct elephant and tiger fights for the entertainment of the emperor, his family and tangerines. The arena consists of concentric circles made of lime and brick. The first flight, intended for the royal family, led to a rectangular podium. Another flight was intended for the soldiers and citizens of the city. Both of these spans were connected by a large passage through which the elephants were escorted to the stage.
