Vietnam Friendship Palace, Hanoi Resort
Rating: 8,0/10 (845 votes)  The Friendship Palace is the largest cultural center in Hanoi. The palace was erected as a gift to the Vietnam Trade Council from the USSR Trade Council. Construction of the building began in November 1978 and was completed by September 1985. The palace complex consists of three main buildings with 120 halls. Territorially, the palace occupies 3.2 hectares. The first building is a theater pavilion, equipped with two halls and a revolving stage. One of the halls is designed for 1256 people, the second - for 375 people. Behind the theater pavilion there is a training pavilion. It houses a library and premises for conferences and master classes, as well as for club activities. Both of these pavilions are connected by a scientific and technical pavilion.
