Temple of the Sacred Heart in China, Guangzhou Resort
Rating: 8,3/10 ( votes)  This church in Guangzhou is the largest Christian cathedral in all of China. The church was built by Jesuit monks in 1863 according to the project of the French architect Guillemin. This cathedral is a striking example of French Gothic, its beauty is not inferior to the famous Notre Dame Cathedral. The Chinese call this church"stone house", as it is almost entirely built of granite. The area of the cathedral is 2754 square meters, height - almost 79 meters, and a width of 35 meters. This is a working church, Catholic services are held here every Sunday.
