Rose Valley in Bulgaria
Rating: 7,9/10 (2657 votes)  Rose Valley, located near Kazanlak, is today one of the largest producers of rose oil. This flower was brought to Bulgaria from India. For many centuries, the people of Bulgaria have grown these flowers to extract the divine extract – rose essential oil. The rose is one of the symbols of Bulgaria. Thanks to the excellent climate, soil and weather conditions, the flowering period in this region is significantly increased. Rose seedlings are foliated around 10 March. The collection of flowers lasts for a month from mid-May to mid-June, of course, the collection largely depends on the weather conditions. The main highlight of the rose essential oil production technology is double distillation.
