Photo and description

The residential building of the merchant Kwensel, where you can see the fully preserved atmosphere of a typical bourgeois house of old Turku, was built around the 1700s. Its rooms in the Rococo style of the Gustavian era give a complete picture of the interior decoration of the master's dwellings at the time when Finland was under Swedish rule.

The pharmacy museum operating in the Quensel house tells about the history of the pharmacy and the pharmacy itself of the first half of 1800- x years. The cafe and herb shop are open during the summer.
