The title in English is Campo de Marte. Photo & DescriptionCampo de Marte Park is one of the largest historic parks located in Lima, Peru. It is considered 'light' cities because of their dense green alleys. Avenue & nbsp; Peruanidat divides the park into an eastern and western sector. El Campo de Marte Park is about 750 meters long and 450 meters wide. Among the main monuments installed in the park, you can see a monument to the defenders of the fatherland, a monument to the Mother, a monument to Jorge Chavez, a monument to Miguel Cervantes. On the west side of the park, there is a huge monument to the defenders of the 1941 Peruvian-Ecuadorian War, Monumento a Los defensores de la frontera, made of granite by the sculptor Artemio Ocana Bejarano, with 28 bronze human figures. It was installed in 1966. In the area where now there is the Campo de Marte park, originally there were exhibition premises, and then the Santa Beatriz race track was built, which worked on this place from 1903 to 1938. The new San Felipe racetrack was built further south, but the stand, track and racetrack remained.
