Spanny's twin falls description and photo - Dominica. Detailed information about the attraction. Description, photographs and a map showing the nearest significant objects. The title in English is Spanny's twin falls. Photo and descriptionSpanny are two delightful waterfalls in a dense rainforest, also called Penris. They are a 10-minute walk from the small town of Bals. The trail to the waterfalls leads through dense thickets along a steep slippery slope down into the valley. Around there are steep cliffs covered with moss and ferns, and the river turns into a waterfall. One of them is 60 feet high, the other reaches 70. Both the one and the other waterfalls have their own bathing ponds. They reach 10 feet deep and are deep enough for swimming. The water here is cool and swimming in this clear water will give you a real pleasure. The air in this place is also fresh and clean, it is a wonderful place to relax. This part of the island is little explored and developed, unlike other popular places existing here. That is why thousands of tourists from all over the world who are fond of ecological tourism come here to see the pristine beauty of nature and magnificent landscapes. The path begins near Spanny's Bar. Since the trail to the falls is not on its territory, the owner of the bar charges an admission fee of 2.5 East Caribbean dollars for local travelers, and 5 East Caribbean dollars for visiting guests.
