Photo and description

The town hall tower, 70 meters high, stands alone in the northeastern part of the square - this is all that remains of the ancient town hall, dismantled at the beginning of the 19th century. At the beginning of the 17th century, the tower was struck by lightning, and from the resulting fire, it suffered and threatened to fall. To avoid this, it was reinforced on the western side, but the deviation from the vertical is still 55 cm. At the same time, the Gothic spire was replaced with a Baroque helmet.
