Voras is renowned for its magnificent natural landscapes and fantastic landscapes. The highest peak of the ridge is Kaimaktsalan (Kaimakchalan) peak, which is 2524 m above sea level. Kaimaktsalan is the third highest mountain in Greece after Olympus (2917 m) and Zmolikas (2637 m). The Greeks often refer to the entire ridge by the name of its highest peak. At the foot of the ridge are the famous Loutra Loutrakiou hot springs. The temperature of the springs is kept at around 37.5 degrees throughout the year.
