Built in 1947, the house of Louis Barragan is an example of modernist and minimalist architecture. It is located in the small town of Takabuya, not far from Mexico City. Inside the house there are 10 rooms, there is even a dressing room after horse rides, which the architect himself loved to do in the garden located right next to the house. The total area of the site is 2000 sq. m.

The house was included in the list of World Heritage Sites, it is one of a kind in Latin America received this title. Today, this three-story unique is a museum, where architects and curious people from all over the world come together.

Barragan's House is located at the end of one of the quiet streets of Takabuya. Outwardly, its walls do not stand out, merging, but the unusual surroundings are given out by a white tower and an outstanding window.

The arrangement of furniture inside strictly corresponds to ledges, corners and openings in the walls. Each chair, pouf, sofa has its own place. Furniture, as it were, continues the house, the house continues the garden, the garden merges with the outwardly peaceful street, and so on.
