At the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Penza region, on February 4, 2009, a monument "Kind Angel of the World" would be unveiled in the city center. A 10-meter marble column and a 3.5-meter bronze angel walking on a hemisphere with a dove in his hands were made at the expense of the Fund "Patrons of the Century". The city administration improved the surrounding area and financed the installation of the sculpture in the style of classical Roman architecture. Dove as a symbol of peace, goodness and hope in the hands of an angel; the hemisphere, symbolizing the globe - all this, carries in itself not only artistic and aesthetic value, but also social and historical significance. The whole composition is the personification of light, pure, high and infinitely good. The names of the builders and patrons are written on the base of the column.

The Kind Angel of the World monument in Penza is not unique. In 23 large settlements of our planet (Pyatigorsk, Pyongyang, Togliatti, Abakan, Moscow) with the international status "City of Peace" there are similar monuments. Penza is the only city in its region that was awarded the highest award for creation and peacemaking - the Order of Peace. In addition to all other awards, at the unveiling of the monument, the governor was presented with a symbolic key to the Kind Angel of the World sculptural composition.

Residents of Penza consider the monument to be their Guardian Angel and hope that it will help in the further prosperity and development of the city. The Kind Angel of the World monument is a city landmark of international importance.
