Mini-Europa Park description and photos - Belgium: Brussels. Detailed information about the attraction. Description, photographs and a map showing the nearest significant objects. The title in English is Mini-Europa. Photo and descriptionMini-Europe miniature park is one of the main attractions of Brussels. Located on 24,000 km2, it was inaugurated in 1989 by Prince Philip of Belgium. It is located in Brupark at the foot of the Atomium and presents the most famous miniatures of European monuments (scale - 1:25). In addition, there are cars, a train, an airbus, mills and other models powered by electricity. Along the footpaths there are about 400 main exhibits with miniature figures of people and trees, which turns it from a museum into an educational center, because many mockups represent real technological advances. This includes the collapse of the Berlin Wall, the eruption of Vesuvius, rotating Dutch mills and Finnish sailing ships passing through the locks of the lakes. All this splendor is accompanied by sound signals when pressing buttons on the corresponding models - bell ringing, steamer sirens, folk songs and even the cry of seagulls in the port. All objects are allowed to be touched. In July-August, fireworks are held in the park on Saturdays. In the evening and at night it is illuminated with lights, as a result of which “Mini-Europe” is spectacularly transformed. Using the detailed guidebook, you can easily reach the interactive exhibition “Soul of Europe” presented in a playful way. There are various pedagogical projects for students. All objects are allowed to be touched. We also recommend reading Karavostasis description and photos - Greece: Folegandros Island Topic: Park Mini-Europa (Mini-Europa) description and photos - Belgium: Brussels. |
