The Arsenal was built in the middle of the 17th century according to the project of the architect Antonio Solari as a warehouse of weapons for distribution to the population in case of another threat of an attack by the Turks. Now over 30 thousand weapons are stored here.

The first floor is dedicated to heavy rifles, flintlock pistols and rifles. Field and naval deck guns can also be seen here. On the second floor, the armament of the cavalry and infantry, as well as many pistols are exhibited. On the third floor, you can see the weapons of the aristocracy, tournament weapons and battle armor. On the fourth floor, musical instruments of military bands are presented.
