The Tavelle house is the oldest residential building in Geneva. After a great fire in 1334, the Tavel family rebuilt their home. Ozze it passed to other owners, and since 1963 it belongs to the city. It currently houses the City Museum. The most interesting exhibit of the museum is a model of the city of 1850, created over 18 years by the architect A. Magnin and provided with his comments.
