Telendos is a small Greek island in the southeastern part of the Aegean Sea, less than 1 km from the coast of Kalymnos. Before the devastating earthquake that struck this region in the 6th century AD, Telendos and Kalymnos were one. The area of the island is approximately 4.6 square kilometers.

Most of the island of Telendos is occupied by a huge mountain, the maximum height of which is about 460 m above sea level. The only flat area is located in the southwestern part of the island and is a small oblong promontory. In this part of the island, the only settlement of Telendos is located - a traditional Greek settlement with a picturesque embankment along which cozy cafes and taverns are located, and a small harbor. where fishing boats and boats arrive.
