Photo and descriptionThe State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan is one of the largest and most famous art museums in Russia. Its collection includes painting, graphics, sculpture, theatrical and decorative and decorative and applied art of the classical Western European schools of the 16th-19th centuries, Russian art of the 16th-20th centuries, Soviet and Tatar fine and applied art; a unique collection of icons from the cathedrals of Sviyazhsk. Here you can see paintings by Durer and Rembrandt, Aivazovsky and Bryullov, Repin and Vrubel, as well as many other masters of painting not only from Russia, but also from Western Europe. The museum houses the country's largest collection of works by the artist N.I. Feshin.
