Villarrica National Park is one of the most visited places in the tourist area of Chile. In summer, from October to September, the average temperature in the park is 23 ° C, in the rest of the year there are heavy rains.

The park was created in 1940 between the provinces of Araucania and Los Rios on an area of 63,000 hectares , in an area of large volcanoes and mountains with a height of 3,776 m.
