The Convent of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kazimirovo is an ancient Christian shrine, revived in 2002.

The first monastery on this land was founded by the Basilian monks in 1713, who were invited by Rechitsa subkomoriy Kazimir Yuditsky. Over time, a village grew near the monastery, later named Kazimirovo, which became famous for its fairs.

The monastery kept a miraculous icon of the Mother of God, named Kazimirovskaya "How helps wives to give birth to children", about which fame went far beyond the Grand Duchy of Lithuania ... Women who were afraid of childbirth came here. After fervent, sincere prayer, their birth was easy and went without complications.

The Basilian Mission for the Preaching of the Word of God and a school were founded at the monastery.

Under the Russian tsarist government in 1832, the monastery, and with it the ancient icon, were transferred to the Orthodox Church. The last Kazimierz priest was martyred in 1933 at the hands of the red commissars, without renouncing the Christian faith.

The restoration of the monastery began after the formation of the Republic of Belarus. The nuns came here, to whom the former club was transferred to the house of prayer, which before becoming a club was a priest's house.

Now, as in ancient times, many pilgrims flock to the monastery, asking the Mother of God for the gift of children. The Kazimierz Monastery, located in a picturesque area, is conducive to serene reflections and prayers. The newly painted walls of the monastery are famous for their beauty.
