Carbet is a group of waterfalls along the river of the same name in Guadeloupe. The cascades, there are three of them, are located in the tropical jungle at the bottom of the slopes of the Soufriere volcano. The natural landmark is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Guadeloupe, attracting around 400,000 visitors annually.

The Europeans became aware of them after, during the expedition of Christopher Columbus in 1493, the waterfalls were noted in the sailor's logbook.

Walking time will take about 20 minutes, if you walk from the main parking lot at an altitude of 660 m. The tourist route usually includes a visit to several hot mineral water springs in the immediate vicinity.

The third cascade is the smallest in height - only 20 m, but the largest in terms of discharged water in Guadeloupe. The approach to it is possible only along the pedestrian route, which is within the power of tourists with experience of such ascents.
