Photo and description

The richest source of mineral waters in Ankara district is Kyzylcahamam county. The name of the county comes from two words - "kyzyl", which means red (explained by the color of the soil) and "hamam" - a bath (a large number of ancient baths have been preserved here). Like the entire county, the administrative center has been actively developing in recent years. In addition to all kinds of mineral springs, Kyzyldzhahamam is also known for its very rich nature. There is a sufficient number of coniferous forests. This is a favorite place for walking and recreation among Ankara residents. So it is not surprising that a large number of picnic lovers and those who simply want to relax in the bosom of nature come here. Moreover, among those who come here a large percentage are not only residents of the capital, but also tourists from the most distant regions of the country.

In the district of the county, 80 km from Ankara, there is the Kyzylcakhamam Souksu National Park with hot springs: Ayash Karakaya, Haymana and Gordion. Souksu National Park also has a mineral spring called Altinsu. The water in this spring is very tasty and healthy. It is no coincidence that the local municipality organizes a water festival every year. There is a large communal pool near the source, around which there are layers of therapeutic mud. This mud is believed to help in the treatment of skin conditions. The disadvantage is that there are no hotel facilities near this complex.

The geothermal springs of Kyzyldzhakhamam combine several sources - they are Kyuchuk Kaplydzha, Buyuk Kaplydzha, Kyzyldzhahamam Maden Suyu and Kyzyldzhahamam Kaplydzhasy. These sources have been used since Roman times. All of them are located in the very center of the county, at an altitude of about 975 kilometers above sea level.

When using the mineral waters of these springs, there is an improvement in the condition of patients with stomach diseases, as well as in people with diseased liver and bile ducts. Here you can take baths, after which there is relief for those who suffer from hardening of the vertebrae and joints, rheumatism and many other diseases. These waters help those who have indigestion, gastrointestinal tract disorders, and this water improves blood circulation, as it is rich in carbon dioxide, salt and alkalis. The average temperature of these waters is about 41 - 42 degrees. They have a very high level of radioactive substances. Kyzylcahamam waters are the fourth in Turkey in terms of their usefulness, which is confirmed by reports from the Turkish Ministry of Health. Therefore, it is no coincidence that modern sanatorium facilities were built here. You can also find specialists in physical therapy here.

Ajisu geothermal spring is located four kilometers from the county center. The water in this spring is recognized as the most carbonated in the county, and its temperature is 34 degrees. This spring will be useful for people suffering from bronchitis and digestive disorders.

Next to Ajisu there is another mineral spring - Kyzyldzhahamam Maden. The height of this spring above sea level is 1050 meters, and the water temperature in it is 18 degrees. Kyzyljakhamam Maden ranks second in the world in importance among its kind. Its water contains soda, calcium, magnesium and chlorine, and its water consumption helps in the treatment of the digestive system, diseases of the liver, gall bladder, diabetes, obesity, pancreas, regulates blood circulation, breaks down fats, improves metabolism.

Above, in the mountains there is Bolu - the capital of silt, famous for its cuisine, and most importantly - for its unusually tasty yogurt. To the north, among the hills, lies the Edigoller National Park with its seven lakes, ideal for hiking.
