The Government House is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Fiji. The Georgian building was built in 1928 on the site of an earlier wooden house burned down by a lightning strike. It is impossible for tourists to visit the residence, but the colorful action is of interest - the changing of the guard of the guards, which takes place in the first week of each month.
