Hydropark is a park located on two Dnieper islands - Dolobetsky and Venetian. Previously, the Predmostnaya Slobodka was located on this place, however, during the German occupation it was destroyed. The Hydropark itself was created in 1965-1968 by architects I. Shpatra and V. Suvorov precisely as a water and entertainment complex, which gave it its name. There are a large number of water attractions, beaches and boat stations. The total area of the park is about 365 hectares. The number of visitors that the park is able to accept at a time is 75,000.

The islands of the Hydropark are connected by a 144-meter Venetian bridge. The park is connected with the banks of the Dnieper by Rusanovsky bridge and Metro bridge. It is thanks to these bridges that the metro station of the same name, which is part of the Svyatoshinsko-Brovarskaya line of the Kiev metro, can operate on the territory of the park, capable of passing over 250,000 people per day.

Since Hydropark is primarily a place intended for active types of recreation, almost ideal conditions for this are created here. In addition to the “Kiev in Miniature” park, here you can easily find a considerable number of entertainment establishments such as restaurants, discos, etc. In addition, especially for those who want to relax with benefit, beaches are located here, which take into account the peculiarities of certain categories of the population. This is a beach for children, a beach for the disabled, and even a nudist beach. Also, lovers of water walks will not be left idle thanks to the rental of boats and catamarans located here. Visitors to the Hydropark will be pleased with the opportunity to play tennis (both large and tabletop), football, paintball, beach rugby, volleyball, water attractions and many other types of leisure activities.
