Auckland City Hall is one of the city's most significant landmarks. The City Hall is located in the business district in the heart of Auckland on Queen Street.

The building of the town hall is made in the neo-baroque style. Melbourne architects D.D. and E.D. The Clarks specially designed the building to be placed on the unusual wedge-shaped plot of land allocated for it. In 1911, the Town Hall was officially opened by Governor General Baron Islington. From 1994 to 1997, the building was completely renovated, additional amenities were added, and the Concert Hall was designed that meets modern international standards.
