Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden, also called Orchid Park, has an area of approximately 2 km2. located at 163 km on Sukhumvit street outside Pattaya. It can be reached by tourist bus or taxi. The park was opened in 1980 on a site that in the middle of the last century was acquired by a married couple Pisit and Nong Nooch Tansacha for growing vegetables and fruits. The organizers of Nong Nooch Park have set themselves the goal of collecting in one place the largest number of palm species in the world.
