Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park was founded in 1989 and is located near Sigatoka on the island of Viti Levu. In the 80s of the 20th century, a group of archaeologists discovered here ancient burials of people who lived more than four thousand years ago. There is a museum in the park, where you can see artifacts from excavations, exhibits that tell about the history of this region.
