The Brela stone is a natural landmark of Croatia, a real symbol of this town. It is located near the beach, formerly known as Punta Rat, and today - Dugi Rat. Not only is the opportunity to soak up the excellent beach with a crystal clear azure sea surrounded by century-old pine trees, but also to get acquainted with the symbol of Brela.

In fact, the stone is a fragment of a giant rock that once rolled down from the Biokovo massif straight into the sea. The locals explained the appearance of a stone block in this place with various legends and traditions. Today the pine-clad fragment is protected by special structures of Croatia as a natural monument.
