From an architectural point of view, it was a quadrangle, covered with a single-domed dome, an attached refectory and a tent bell tower. In the 30s of the twentieth century, in the wake of the struggle with the Church, the temple was closed. But during the war years, in 1944, it was returned to the believers, services began to be held and the temple was no longer closed. In the 80s of the twentieth century, the church was completely rebuilt and expanded, but the previous appearance was carefully preserved. Since 1995 it has been the cathedral of the diocese.
