The title in English is Tschingellochtighorn. Photo and descriptionChingellotighorn is a mountain belonging to the Bernese Alps, located between two valleys - Engstligenalp and Jushinental. Due to its unusual shape, Chingellotighorn is extremely popular among fans of alpine climbing. Its chalk top consists of four towers. Today, almost no one climbs the northern tower due to the fact that as a result of the earthquake that occurred here in 1946, a notch was formed inside the tower. Therefore, climbers have to either stop, just barely reaching the top, or somehow jump over a one and a half meter crevice, which significantly increases the complexity of the route and is fraught with falling into a stone pit. But her neighbors are extremely popular in the mountaineering environment since then, how the first ascent was made on Chingellotighorn in autumn 1903. Today, the route, spanning the three southern towers, is included in the list of the 100 Most Beautiful Tours in the Bernese Highlands. The most convenient way to get to Chingellotighorn is by tram going from Adelboden to the Engstligenalp valley, and then along a walking route, which usually takes 1-2 hours to overcome. The most convenient way to the summit is from the mountain hotel on Schwarenbach through Kandersteg or Leukerbad. The trail connecting Chingellotighorn and Schwarenbach is characterized by its width and ease of movement along it, so that the crossing takes no more than 45 minutes. When climbing the middle and south towers, it is recommended to be very careful, their walls are unusually porous and, if handled carelessly, can easily cause a small collapse.
