Nikitskaya cleft and climbing wall is located near the city of Yalta, about 3 km, near the village of Botanicheskoe. This is a natural monument that has been protected by the state since 1969. The height of the rocks reaches 30 m, the edge of the gorge is covered with green vegetation and forest. Even on the rocks, you can see plants that somehow ended up here. Clematis and blackberries grow at the bottom of the crevice. In general, the flora of the cleft is quite rich and diverse. Here you can find luxurious ivy vines, cherry trees, mountain ash, pistachios, strawberries, oak, juniper and pine. The cleft has the status of a reserve.

Gloomy giant rocks seem to have been divided by someone with a sword and form a gorge. The width of the gorge does not exceed 30 m, and the length is about 200 m. It is gloomy and cold here even in summer.

Nikitsky Rocks is the only and unique rock-climbing place in Crimea. There are 85 routes of various difficulty categories created here. Climbers from many countries come here. In the spring and autumn, regular trips are organized for 4 days (from Thursday to Monday). Experienced instructors conduct classes with groups and help climbers with different skill levels to master the wisdom of climbing, provide insurance.

There are three exits from the crevasse that block the rocks. The unique beauty of these places attracts artists. The rocks are covered with cracks and stones. These places are also attractive for film directors who have chosen the Crimean land. Here they filmed "Children of Captain Grant", "Hearts of Three" and others.

The warm climate allows climbing at any time of the year. In summer, here you can hide from the scorching sun, and in winter, sometimes the temperature drops below +6. This is one of the unique places for climbers to keep fit.
