Madrasah Chifte Minareli in Turkey, Erzurum resort
Rating: 7,5/10 (665 votes)  This building is not for nothing called a masterpiece of Seljuk architecture. It is popular not only in Erzurum itself, but all over the world. The building was built for the daughter of Sultan Aladdin Keykubat in 1253. This building has not only religious but also educational significance. Mederese has the shape of a quadrangle. In the center of the building is an open courtyard with a fountain in the center. On both sides of the entrance there are terraces with adjoining cells. The facade of the building is lined with slabs of dark stone covered with patterns. A little later, due to the tense military situation, the building was given to the barracks for the military. In 1971, the building was restored and included in list of UNESCO Historical Heritage.
