Pinsk city park of culture and recreation named after The Red Banner Dnieper Flotilla is one of the oldest parks in Belarus. The park, located along the banks of the Pina River, was mentioned in documents from 1858. Its original name is Leshensky Park. Under this name, he entered the general plan of Pinsk.

After the liberation of Pinsk from the Nazi invaders, the park was named after the Red Banner Dnieper Flotilla, whose landing party played a decisive role in the liberation of Pinsk.

In the park there is a mass grave of the dead sailors with a burning eternal flame and numerous monuments that will forever preserve the names of the heroes in our memory.
