Thich Ka Phat Dai Park in Vietnam, Vung Tau Resort
Rating: 9,0/10 (1565 votes)  Thich Ka Phat Dai Park, also known as the Altar of Buddha, is today one of the most popular places in Vung Tau. The park is located on the slope of the eastern hill of the Big Mountain and is famous, first of all, for the statue of Buddha. The park was founded in the 60s of the XX century. Just outside the main gate, on the right-hand side, there are a number of souvenir stalls where, in addition to figurines and other souvenirs, you can buy crafts made from coral and shells. There are also small restaurants and cafes here. Further along the shady road, you can see several large white cement Buddha statues, a giant lotus flower, as well as sculptures made in the form of animals and people.
