Kanapitsa is an excellent sandy beach on the southern coast of the Greek island of Skiathos. The beach is located just 4 km from Skiathos town on the small picturesque Kalamaki Peninsula. Once Kanapitsa was one of the most visited beaches of the island, but with the development of other resorts in Skiathos, its popularity has sharply decreased, which is undoubtedly its plus, since there is almost never an excessive crowding here.

The beach is well organized and ideal for families. The excellent tavern right on the beach is the perfect place to dine while enjoying excellent local cuisine and stunning panoramic views.

For fans of active pastime - water skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving and much more. Lovers of long walks will appreciate the beautiful landscapes of the Kanapitsa area. You can also rent a boat and take a fascinating journey along the picturesque coast of Skiathos.
