The Museum of Popular Culture in Cremona was opened in 1978 on the territory of the Cambonino Vecchio farm, which itself is a valuable exhibit. The oldest part of the farm is the stable, which consists of six compartments supported by circular arches and five central small columns. The floor is baked clay and the original animal bedding has been redesigned. In other rooms there are pigsties and three chicken coops. Today, the stable displays items used to breed animals.

The so-called "bugadira" - a laundry - has two brick ovens, which housed metal steam boilers for boiling water. From the activity of these stoves, a black coating remained on the walls and roof of the laundry.

In one of the farmhouses there is an exposition, introducing the furnishings of such buildings in the past, and in the other, you can learn about the secrets of traditional Cremona cuisine. The manager's house can be recognized by the small bell tower on its roof, which houses the conference hall and the Cookids Cooking School for Children. Finally, the main house of the estate is notable for a central door that leads into a wide corridor for receiving guests - today didactic classes and temporary exhibitions are held in it and in the adjacent rooms. In the center of the courtyard is the current used to dry grain, and the barquessale is a storage area for agricultural machinery.

In addition, the Cambonino Vecchio farm has a new stable with seven compartments and a hay attic. This room displays items intended for the care of horses, as well as various equipment for field work. Finally, a variety of vehicles can be viewed by the porch.
